Susan Albright, DVM
In over 35 years of veterinary practice, Dr. Susan Albright has fused traditional and integrative modalities that include chiropractic, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition, essential oils and other forms of energy medicine. She currently owns and operates a veterinary clinic in Chenoa, Illinois. Initially working with hogs, dogs, and horses, the practice evolved using modern technology such as therapeutic and surgical lasers along with integrative holistic options which offer her animal patients and their owners a comprehensive approach to health and wellness.
Using essential oils has become an integral part of Dr. Albright's daily practice since she was introduced to them in 2001. Her studies in aromatherapy have included the C.A.R.E. courses (Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education) as well as the ISHA courses (Institute for Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy). She has been honored to present and teach around the country at numerous professional conferences including the 2017 Equine Affaire, the Holistic Health for Animals Conferences and the Prairie States Animal Welfare Conference.
Dr. Albright graduated from the University of Illinois as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1985 and completed the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association curriculum in 1999 and the Chi Institute Mixed Practice Acupuncture in 2000. She is also a Healing Touch for Animals AP Practitioner. Dr. Albright served as the Animal Control Administrator for Livingston County 2009-2014.
An avid animal lover, Dr. Albright shares her life with her dog, Grayson, her cat, the notorious Mr. Mao, five American Quarter Horses, George the yellow-naped Amazon and numerous clinic and barn cats.


Kate Brown, CCA
I am the owner and Founder of Kate Brown Healing Essentials, a thriving private practice for humans and animals. In my work, I specialize in the use of Essential Oils and energy work for people and animals, through education, coaching, and personal consultations and sessions. In this capacity, I assist people and their animals in releasing their past, and thrive in the present, using Essential Oils and other holistic solutions to physical, emotional and spiritual matters, as well as working with behavioral issues with animals. I believe that connecting to your Inner Champion is possible for all animals and people. My certifications in Clinical Aromatherapy, Healing Touch for Animals and Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry allow me to use my passion for aromatherapy, holistic lifestyle, and energy work to help others live the vibrant and abundant life which is meant for them.
After meeting Dr Susan Albright, a holistic veterinarian, who helped me find holistic solutions including essential oils to help with physical, emotional and behavioral issues with a horse, I started studying aromatherapy I also studied and began teaching for Healing Touch for Animals. Teaching in Healing Touch for Animals and Certification in Clinical Aromatherapy gives me the honor of traveling across the country to instruct people who are interested in pursuing the knowledge that these two amazing programs offer.
I live and practice in Utica Illinois Our household includes my husband, Bruce, our Corgi, Hudson, our Corgi/Border Collie, Gus and our two Quarter Horses, Boomer and Lizzie
